Why Nutty Scientists?

Since 1996, children around the world have benefited from the Nutty Scientists® method for learning through experimentation, participation, and most of all – fun!

Through our revolutionary methodology and programs, which span many areas of science, sustainability and general life education, we teach scientific concepts in a way that children understand and remember.

From after-school programs and summer camps, to in-class workshops, show events, birthday parties and more, Nutty Scientists award-winning curriculum can be delivered how, when and where you need it.

Our mission at Nutty Scientists is to awaken the curiosity and imagination of children around the world through the creation of unique and original interactive scientific activities. These programs increase children’s interest in science and help them understand the world with which they interact.

 

Is it for kids or is it for adults?

All our services are tailored towards different age groups. We provide after school clubs, holiday workshops and more for children aged 5 to 18 years of age. We also cater for adults in the form of corporate events, team building activities and family days. So whatever the age group, we definitely have something for you!

 

What topics do we cover?

Our shows and activities cover Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Maths – in other words STEAM! This provides a more holistic approach to learning and also supports the national curriculum. We also host awareness campaigns which are a great to raise attention to real life experiences such as Road Safety, Nutrition, Saving Energy, Recycling and so much more.

 

Are our resources safe?

The resources we use are selected and carefully tested by our team before workshops to ensure children can enjoy learning safely. We always ask upon booking/registration about any allergies and make all our staff aware. If you have any reservations or questions, please do not hesitate to email us.

 

What happens at a birthday party?

Your activities and duration will vary depending on the theme you have chosen and for how long. There will be a minimum of 2 Professors who will arrive approximately 20 – 30 minutes before the start time to set up. All our parties include activities, materials and resources, paper party bags and take home inventions. Whether the party be at a residence or local venue, all we require is access to water, electricity and tables. All bookings must be confirmed a minimum of 10 days before the party date. Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been made in full and the agreement of services policy has been signed and returned.

 

What if I need to cancel my child’s booking?

If cancelling a workshop or holiday club, any cancellations made within 7 days of the event is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 7 days before the event we are more than happy to refund you minus a £10 administration fee.
